In this episode, The Fire Brigade started off with a review of the college football New Year's Day bowl games as well as a quick recap of the two college football playoff semifinal games!

Next, the show shifted our focus to the basketball court with the news that the Cleveland Cavaliers traded for point guard, Rajon Rondo.

Then, we stuck with basketball and talked about the recent hiring of longtime San Antonio Spurs assistant, Becky Hammon, to be the next head coach of the WNBA, Las Vegas Aces.

Afterward, the guys talked about the final week of the NFL regular season.  This included discussion around who will fill the final spots in the playoffs, matchups to watch for in the 1st round of the playoffs, etc.

We wrapped up the show with a roundtable about the upcoming college football national championship between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs.

Next, the guys talked about the recent talks surrounding the possibility of the NBA adding a mid-season tournament.  We provide some insight on the possible format, whether it is a good idea or bad idea, and more.

Then, the show shifted our focus to the football field to talk about some major college football bowl games taking place on New Year's Day.

We stuck with football and previewed the two College Football Playoff Semifinal matchups.  We go inside the matchups, give you players to watch for, and who will come out on top.

Finally, we wrapped up with the heartbreaking passing of NFL legend, John Madden.

Then, the show shifted our focus to the hardwood giving you our recap of our major college basketball games from this past weekend.

We stuck with basketball and previewed the upcoming NBA Christmas Day matchups.  We go inside the matchups, give you players who won't be playing for their respective teams, and who will come out on top.

Finally, we wrapped up with a little more NFL talk with the recent injury news out of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers camp and a few more NFL coaches that might be on the hot seat for being fired at the end of the season.

Next, the team switched over to the NFL to talk about the recent rumors that Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, has played his final season in Pittsburgh this year.

Then, the guys talked about the recent hirings in the college football world with new coaches being hired at Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Miami (FL).

We continue our discussion in the college football world with the announcement of the 4 Heisman candidates for this year.  We dive into the numbers for each player and give you our pick for who will bring home the award.

The show kept with college football by giving you the Fire Brigade's analysis of the major conference championship games from last week.

Continuing with college football we had some discussion around the final college football playoff rankings and whether or not the committee got the top four teams correct or not.

Afterward, the crew continued their discussion in the college football world with the big news out of Penn State.  Head football coach, James Franklin, and Penn State have reached a new 10-year extension to keep him as the head coach until 2031.

Following our NFL talk, we got into some college basketball talk with the season just around the corner.  We previewed the 2 big matchups on opening night between #3 Kansas vs. Michigan State and #10 Kentucky vs. #9 Duke.

The show continued with the Fire Brigade's analysis of last week's biggest games in college football and then previewed the biggest games in Week 10. 

Finally, we wrapped up the show with more college football talk after the initial College Football Playoff rankings were released.

Next, the guys returned to the octagon with the upcoming UFC 267 going on this weekend in Abu Dhabi.

Then, the team transitioned over to the baseball diamond to preview and recap the World Series matchup between the Houston Astros and the Atlanta Braves.

The show continued with the Fire Brigade's analysis of last week's biggest games in college football and then previewed the biggest games in Week 9. 

Finally, we wrapped up the show with a little controversy surrounding the Cleveland Indians new team name choice of the Guardians.
