Fired Up! - Episode 34

In this episode, The Fire Brigade started off with a big shoutout to one of our loyal listeners, Cooper Titus!  Cooper is an up-and-coming rap artist with a new album recently released on SoundCloud, so go give him a listen.

Next, the guys returned the octagon with the upcoming UFC 266 going on this weekend in Las Vegas.

Then, the team transitioned over to the golf course to talk about Team USA vs. Team Europe in this year's edition of the Ryder Cup.

The show switched gears over to some NASCAR playoff discussion now that 4 drivers have been eliminated and the field being shrunk to 12.

The Fire Brigade then analyzed last week's biggest games in college football and then previewed the biggest games in Week 4. 

The crew then wrapped up with a few quick hitter topics in the NHL, the NBA, and the NFL.  The topics included the recent extension of Columbus Blue Jackets goalie, Elvis Merzlikins, the retirement of 15-year NBA vet, JJ Redick, and Justin Fields being named the starter this week for the Chicago Bears.

Fired Up! - Episode 33

In this episode, The Fire Brigade started off with the NFL since Week 1 just wrapped up this past weekend.  That means the Fire Brigade gave their picks for who would win the AFC South, NFC West, and the AFC West. 

Next, the NFL talk continued by discussing the biggest surprises & biggest disappointments from the Week 1 games.

Then, the guys stuck with the NFL by talking about the huge contract extension that Pittsburgh Steelers LB, T.J. Watt, recently received. 

The shows switched gears over to college football to talk about the recent hiring of USC football coach, Clay Helton, and the impact this will have on their program moving forward.

The show wrapped up with The Fire Brigade's analysis of last week's biggest games in college football and then preview the biggest games in Week 3.

That means the Fire Brigade will be giving you a preview of each division before the season starts.  This week were the teams from the NFC South.  Each host gives you their opinion on where the Atlanta Falcons, the Carolina Panthers, the New Orleans Saints, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers stand in their division.

Next, the NFL talk continued by discussing the announcement out of Houston that Tyrod Taylor will be their starting QB for Week 1!

Then, the guys shifted their focus over to the baseball diamond.  The end of the MLB regular season is about a month away, so we give our rundown of the divisional and wildcard races in both the American League and National League.

Then, the NFL season is right around the corner so that means the Fire Brigade will be giving you a preview of each division before the season starts.  This week were the teams from the NFC North.  Each host gives you their opinion on where the Chicago Bears, the Detroit Lions, the Green Bay Packers, and the Minnesota Vikings stand in their division. 

The guys continued with their NFL talk by discussing a couple of the announcements made by the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Denver Broncos of who is going to be their starting QBs for Week 1.

Fired Up! - Episode 29

In this episode, The Fire Brigade started with a little baseball talk literally by talking about this year's Little League World Series.  We had a special guest host, fellow family member, Gavin, to help give us some insight on this topic.

Next, the NFL season is right around the corner so that means the Fire Brigade will be giving you a preview of each division before the season starts.  This week were the teams from the AFC East.  Each host gives you their opinion on where the Buffalo Bills, the Miami Dolphins, the New England Patriots, and the New York Jets stand in their division.  The guys continued with their NFL talk by discussing the 7 new NFL head coaches this year.  We give you who will be successful in their first year and who will crash and burn. 

Afterward, the crew returned the asphalt with some NASCAR discussion.  The guys give you some information about the playoff system works, the current points standings, and some drivers to look out for during the final two races of the regular season.

Next, the guys finished their discussion about the NBA Finals with the Milwaukee Bucks taking home the Larry O'Brien Trophy.  The guys quickly turned towards the future of the NBA with some talk about next week's NBA Draft.

The fellas continued their basketball discussion with a preview of how the USA Men's basketball team will fare at this year's Summer Olympics.  The crew kept the Olympic talk going with some topics about their favorite events to watch, new sports added to this year's Olympics, and more.

Afterward, the show switched to some MLB talk.  We dive deep into what is going on with the dumpster fire that is the New York Yankees.

In this episode, The Fire Brigade started with their recap of the MLB All-Star festivities at Coors Field!

We then turned back towards the octagon and gave our hot take on whether UFC fighter, Connor McGregor, is done fighting in the UFC.

Then, the attention was turned towards golf's final major, The British Open.  The crew gave some insight into the course and some players to watch out for.

Next, the guys continued with their discussion about the NBA Finals.  The Milwaukee Bucks are finally showing some life in the Finals and the Fire Brigade was loving it.

The fellas continued their basketball discussion with a preview into this year's edition of The Basketball Tournament, the win-or-go-home style tournament for a grand prize of $1 million dollars. 

Afterward, the show switched to some NASCAR talk.  We gave an update on the points standings, who's in and who's out in the playoff race, and some things to look for with only 5 races left.
